Wansee Entertainment is a series on YouTube that animates people’s horrifying real-life encounters and experiences with the paranormal or people. This series holds a deep place in my heart because it’s the series that helped me get through the pandemic. I always loved hearing other people’s terrifying stories, even if they seemed fake. Storytelling is one of my favourite art forms and Wansee Entertainment does a great job of animating it.
The animated YouTube series consists of stories from viewers or stories that the series made-up. Sometimes, it’s hard to tell if the story is real or not. Some of the stories are extremely horrifying, while other stories seem too good to be true. For example, some consist will consist of the paranormal with ghosts, demons, or spirits, while other stories are about home invasions, people getting killed, stalking, etc., which are all very scary things to experience.
Recently, their animations have improved a lot, and the art styles are almost always different. I think they get different animators for almost every video. However, the videos I love to watch the most are their monthly compilation videos. I always play them in the background while working, studying, cooking, or cleaning because they are fun to listen to while doing something they help me focus.
The compilations are almost an hour or more and contain multiple stories within them. Recently, the stories have no been quite the best (in my opinion), but some stories were great and worth the watch.
Overall, I give this series a solid 7 out of 10 witch broomsticks. I strongly recommend everyone to watch this series and form their own opinions on Wansee Entertainment.
